You can use blocks more or less like modules in a modular synth system. I don't have this issue with any other synths. Blocks in Reaktor is a hierarchy level between the modules (oscillators, filters, amps etc) and the ensembles (like Monark or every playable Reaktor instrument). Resetting the audio engine and audio/MIDI data is ineffective. and Reaktor may appear daunting to the new, and it's interface can appear fiddly in terms of ensemble management etc but it has been around a long time and is very stable as well. However, on my latest project the hangs extend into parts of the track where MIDI cilps *are* playing, preventing me from hearing my mix. You dont need to be a 'builder' to get something new and unique.

Every aspect of the complex interaction of complex analog circuits to the behavior of the filter when overloaded was meticulously studied and recreated using cutting-edge DSP technology. However, its also become really easy to modify instruments with LFOs and other modulation sources in Reaktor 6. MONARK is a virtual synth with a dynamic, analog heart designed to be played one note at a time to truly savor its bold, fat tone. The workaround I've been using is to automate the volume of the audio track containing Reaktor so that it's at -inf whenever I don't want to hear it. As you noted, there are quite a few modifications to the Monark blocks in the user library, including polyphonic versions. Upon export, everything behaves normally- no hung notes. Native Instruments provided the Monark synth with a high sample rate of 88200 Hz, and a B-Panel which allows you to recreate and tweak some of the imperfections that helped make the original Minimoog famous. This will even happen if I stop playback, rewind to the beginning (before any MIDI clips), and begin playing again- the hung notes begin sounding as soon as I hit play. I've been using the Reaktor Player with both Monark and Razor for a while, and one issue that I almost *always* have (particularly with Razor) is that after a MIDI clip triggering Reaktor plays, the last notes hang indefinitely, until the next notes are played.
